BIG DOGS

Mars is a very affectionate furry friend who loves cuddles and strokes. Despite his size, he is still a baby who enjoys observing, smelling, and exploring the world. Mars arrived at the shelter in late 2021, where we rescued him in February. He was living with a lot of stress there, as he is a very affectionate dog and had many deficiencies. He could barely leave his cage once a day, so he is not used to walking on a leash, but he is learning with the volunteers. Mars was found on the street with Liam, Pinya, and a puppy. They were taken to the shelter. Nothing else is known about his past. No one asked for them. What we do know is that he is a charming little baby who has us all in love.

Liam is a very affectionate dog, although when he entered the shelter he was so scared that even a caress would make him pee himself and want to flee. Now, what he likes the most is being on top of people and getting attention. He is a very active and playful little one, he likes long walks and exploring new places. We are looking for a responsible and active family that can give him a fulfilling life as he deserves.

Duk arrived at the shelter rescued by a person who saw him every day living in a place where no dog should spend a single day of their life, a place that we hope Duk forgets soon. Luckily, in this case, we managed to get the owners to surrender him, and now he is at the shelter, fully prepared to start a new life. Duk is a young and active dog who is eager to get out of his kennel 24 hours a day. He also gets along well with other dogs and is not shy with volunteers. In fact, even if he just met you, he will be delighted to go for a walk with you! So, if you feel like coming to meet him, Duk is waiting for you with a smile and lots of excitement to live the life he deserves!

Leia arrived at the shelter with anemia, liver disease, a major skin infection, and leishmaniasis. Thanks to the laser treatment that she has been receiving, there are practically no sequelae of the tragic state that she was presenting on her skin and internally she has everything under control.
Leia is a 10-year-old dog, a full-fledged princess. She gets along great with other dogs, and with people she's a sweetheart. But it seems that no one wants to give him the opportunity to know what a family is. From Vedama we strongly believe that Leia does not deserve to spend another night without the warmth of a house, that is why we make it easy for you by turning her into one of our Big Lovers. May the force be with you, Leia!

Uke arrived at the shelter in poor condition. He was thin and had no hair around his neck, so we think he must have spent a long time tied to a chain. Over time, he has become increasingly happy and playful. And even though he is a big dog, Uke is still a young pup who, at his young age, has already suffered mistreatment, been rescued and recovered, and is more than ready to find a family willing to take him in and love him as one of their own.

Tucson arrived at the shelter because he was seen walking alone in the city, and although he was wearing a collar, he had no microchip and no one ever came to look for him, so he became part of our family. Tucson is a very calm and affectionate dog who loves company. In addition, he gets along very well with all the other dogs, so we think he could live with another one without any problem.

That handsome boy you see in the pictures is Rocky, a very friendly little hound, although somewhat distrustful. He came to the shelter very scared, but little by little he is gaining confidence in us, and even asking us to play with him and pet him! Rocky is another example of what hunting means in our country. Once again, his owner can no longer take care of him and abandons him as if he were an object. But that's over now, his life is just as important as any other dog's, so we are looking for a responsible family willing to treat him as a member of the family. We hope that luck will come for him soon.

Timoteo was found in the middle of the road, and although we suspected he was close to home and had an owner... they never came to look for him. He is a special dog, obedient, clean, and intelligent, and he needs a family that understands him and can provide him with what he needs. He loves spending time with us and enjoying long walks. We want a calm home full of love for Timoteo.

This affectionate little dog was found wandering completely alone with a striking complication. Peter suffers from severe arthritis that prevents him from moving his left hind leg correctly, probably due to a lack of treatment or mistreatment of some trauma he suffered in the past. Nonetheless, Peter has managed to overcome his mobility problem, as he is currently able to move completely autonomously and quite actively. That is why we think Peter has had this problem in his leg for quite some time, and over the years, he has managed to overcome the problem and lead a perfectly normal life. He is a very active dog who loves to go for walks. In addition, he is very affectionate and gets along very well with people and other dogs. Now, what he needs is to find someone to play and go for walks with, as he loves to do.
